a little homesick

I know I just posted yesterday but I'm feeling kind of reflective after Brian's visit so I was making a list in my head all week of thing that I love about living in Spain and the things I miss from back home:

Love about Spain: 

the oranges

walking a lot

cafe con leche and cortados

gelato 

the beach!! 

the mountains, and the view on the metro on the way to UIB

Made in Brasil 

the UIB gym cafeteria

access to really cool places on the island for just a few euros/public transportation

cute little side streets

bocadillos on great bread

outdoor markets

going to the beach between classes

the pastries (especially palmeras)

my host family and the CIEE group

Things I miss from Home:

Brian's funny habits

buffalo wings

egg harbor. 

my mom's cooking

the smell of tide detergent on my clothes

my DRYER

hot showers

being able to call and text my friends back home

my roommates jess and casey :( 

 smart balance peanut butter

not paying 8 euro for neutrogena face wash

DC's FAC lime-rita fishbowls

Aquafina

my house/ lake

my guitar ( by the way lucas, if you are reading this --- you BETTER be taking good care of it! or I will kill you when I get back.)

TV! thank god i have grey's anatomy on itunes

the furniture in my apartment....

lots more on both counts, but now I am going to go out and celebrate Oli's birthday so I better go do something with my hair, haha.
